Zumba

Zumba combines high energy and motivating latin, international and pop music with unique moves and combinations that allow Zumba participants to forget they are even working out. It is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do.  This enables participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits.  Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind. It is a “feel happy” workout.  Zumba classes create a party-like atmosphere that is incredibly fun, different, and is so easy to follow that everyone of any age can do it!  Over ten million people Zumba every week because it is so much fun.  All moves are modifiable, so you can Zumba your own way and just lose yourself in the music and moment.  The Zumba philosophy is “Ditch the workout – join the party!”

Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold is based on the same dance moves used in the original Zumba class, but is less intense, with dance routines designed for beginners and older adults using modified and more low impact movements.  It was designed to teach the basic Zumba dance steps in a way that anyone can learn.  Zumba gold uses the same great Zumba formula, but we add a longer warm up and cool down to allow participants a program that improves balance, flexibility and cardiovascular strength. Zumba Gold provides an appropriate workout for those just beginning a fitness program, so its focus is on safety and remaining injury-free while still getting a great workout.  It is so easy and fun that you will forget you’re in a fitness class burning all those extra calories and improving your heart health!

Palango!

Palango! is kicking, boxing, and capoeira combine with 100% Latin and Caribbean music!  It is a simple, fun, and intense cardio-toning and endurance group exercise class that combines the best of the Latin music and movements with powerful fitness moves from boxing, Capoeira kick boxing, Muay Thai knees and other elements of traditional martial arts.  Each choreographed song has only 3 to 4 simple steps that are easily executed, and precisely integrated to keep you moving, and burning calories and fat. Palango! is not your traditional dance class, this is a super-fun fat-burning workout.

Hot Hula

HOT HULA fitness® provides a “total body workout” in 60 minutes as it isolates your larger muscle groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads and arms. Inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, HOT HULA fitness® incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout. You’ll be barefoot and relaxed as you immerse yourself and feel transported straight to a Polynesian island!

Zumba Toning

When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast. This is a class that includes the basic Zumba moves that you know and love but also incorporates ways to work key muscle groups using very light weights. It is not required that you use the special Zumba toning sticks – you can come to class with nothing extra and just use water bottles instead, or if you have some light weights laying around (don’t we all?), like in the 2-3 pound range, those can be useful for this class, so bring them along. It’s a great way to combine the fun Zumba workout with an extra kick that makes your body look and feel more toned!

Mommy+Kids Zumba

This is a Zumba class specially created for young kids (ages 3-5) and their adult caregivers/parents and is a great bonding opportunity!  Both of you will experience the class together, and your kids will get the benefits of learning about exercise and their bodies while getting more coordinated and capable.  They will learn how to move to rhythmic music and enjoy dancing and fitness!  They will be exposed to all the musical styles you get in normal Zumba class, like salsa, bachata, reggaeton, cumbia, bollywood and international music.  Music and dance moves are all appropriately designed for the young kids, both for their development and maturity level.

U-Jam

U-Jam Fitness is an athletic cardio dance fitness program that unites world beats with urban flavor.  The music will take you around the world from old school hip hop to Bollywood with an athletic, intense cardio workout that makes you sweat, tones your body and leaves your body craving more!  Highly choreographed with super fun and modern movements, this is a very fun class!

Whole Body Conditioning

Taught by a certified personal trainer, you will have a full hour workout focused on toning and strengthening all your core muscle groups.  Squats, lunges, pushups, situps, burpees and more!  Enjoy the music while you improve yourself with proven exercises for various muscles groups.  Challenging and effective, this class will make your body look and feel great!

Tonerobics

Tonerobics uses all kinds of popular music so you will likely hear the latest songs as well as some classics that you always did love.  The class is mostly low impact but is designed so that multiple levels can be used on many of the movements.  It alternates between aerobic dance movements and focused isotonics for the most common areas of the body that we all want to be more toned – abs, gluts, thighs, arms.  Anyone can do this class, from the beginner to the advanced, young or old, male or female.  And you don’t need any extra equipment as every toning move uses isotonic principles.  You will notice over time that you feel leaner because of the toning exercises within the class, with additional benefits like stronger knees, and the dance movements will burn those extra calories.

Total Body Workout

This is a complete full body workout that incorporates 25 minutes of aerobic dance movements with 30 minutes of full body toning exercises using weights. The focus is on strengthening and toning the legs, thighs, glutes, abs, chest, arms and HEART! For this class, please bring one set of lighter weights (3-5 pounds), one set of heavier weights (8-12 pounds), one set of ankle weights (optional), a floor/yoga mat, a towel and a bottle of water. This is a true body changing workout and you WILL see and feel the results in a very short time!
