Sally Wirth created Dance Tone Fitness because she enjoys dance fitness so much and wanted to focus all her professional energy on it.  She has been a participant in group exercise classes for her entire adult life, having done just about every class format there is.  Aerobics, Jazzercise, Step, Hot Hula, Belly Dancing, Yoga, Power Pump, Kick Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Tae Bo, P90X, CrossFit, Spinning… you name it she’s probably done it!  In fact she used to teach Spinning after having trained at the company that created it, Mad Dogg Athletics.  Sally is a former marathon runner who switched to group exercise fitness because it is so much more fun!  She is certified by AFAA (Aerobic Fitness Association of America) to teach group exercise.  She is also licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr.

She has also developed two unique classes that focus on toning and strengthening muscles while also conditioning the heart and burning calories.  One of these is her Tonerobics fitness classes, and they are set to fun and popular music.  These classes consist of aerobic dance movements combined with isotonic principles to strengthen thighs, glutes, abs and arms to provide a challenging yet fun experience.  They require no equipment or mats as all movements are done on your feet and upright.  She has also developed a class called Total Body Workout, which is exactly what its name implies.  Half of this one-hour class is made up of aerobic dance movements and the other half is devoted to toning exercises mostly using weights.  We do lunges, squats, bicep curls, leg lifts, hip squeezes, crunches and more.  You will need to bring a set of lighter weights (3-5 pounds), a set of heavier weights (8-12 pounds), ankle weights (optional), a yoga/floor mat, a towel and a bottle of water.  Do this class regularly and you will definitely see results!
